Ricca Coffee Company is one of SA's oldest commercial roasters having been established in 1975. We serve commercial and domestic customers across Australia with roasted coffee, equipment and ancillaries.
Bob Schirvaton launched SA Coffee Roasters from his Brompton backyard in 1975
Initially delivering bulk coffee to retailers around Adelaide, he upgraded to a 1950s era Menado drum roaster around 1984
By the time Bob moved to the current premises in 1990, he'd adopted the Ricca name to reflect his passion for rich coffee experiences
Bob passed away in 2002
New owner, Gary Brown, installed Adelaide's first commercial air bed roaster in 2008
Ricca is still a family-owned business, with Martyn and Anne Smith taking over the reins in 2016
